• Best known for playing Prince Vultan in the Flash Gordon movie, actor Brian Blessed is to do his first podcast. A bedtime stories podcast, it’ll be released early next month, with UK broadcaster Union Jack Radio.

• Triton Digital has released their latest US Podcast Ranker. The top 10 networks, and top 5 podcasts, are unchanged; total downloads were up 1.1%. The ranker only measures participating publishers.

• Bryan Barletta posts a super-interesting and very technical piece about reporting ad impressions on podcasts - particularly, what’s actually possible, and how useful an IP address actually is.

• SyncFloor, which offers music licensing for projects including podcasts, has partnered with JioSaavn’s Artist Originals.

• AJ Feliciano has been named Head of The Roost, Rooster Teeth’s podcast network. (Congratulations, AJ!)
