NPR podcasts - now available on Spotify

• NPR podcasts are now available on Spotify, they announce. Spotify is, say Libsyn, the #2 podcast destination in the world.

• WNYC and Night Vale are producing a deluxe edition of the first season of the cult-favorite fictional podcast, The Orbiting Human Circus (of the air), a fantastical, wildly popular radio show broadcast from the top of the Eiffel Tower. They’re also co-producing series two, available later this year.

• The Gimlet podcast Sandra is to be developed into a TV show.

• A long interview, and case study, for a podcast that has 35,000 downloads/month after two years: the Food Blogger Pro Podcast. Also in this vein: Kevin Goldberg is a guest on the latest Bitrate, discussing “how to market podcasts correctly”.
