A detailed study into Spanish-speaking podcast listeners has been released by Podcaster@s. Based from a self-selecting sample, it shows that Spotify is most popular, and that Apple is just as popular as YouTube for podcast listening. Wondery announced at Podcast Movement yesterday that their hit podcast Dr Death was now available in a variety of languages as part of the company’s global expansion. Dr Morte, 死亡医生, Dr Muerte, Dr LaMort, and Dr Tod are now all live.

Patreon has announced a new secure way to share video for supporters, using Vimeo.

Veritone has announced that its artificial intelligence software aiWARE will be used on the ART19 podcast platform. It’ll automatically work out what individual podcast episodes are about, to allow programmatic ads to be based on the content of that episode.
