  • After Podcast Movement wrapped up - it’s probably the biggest podcast conference in the world - the internet is now full of blogs and pieces from the event. From a nice video from day 1, to coverage of day 1, day 2 and day 3 from Podcasting Pro.

  • AdLarge Media has added the “hey, girl.” podcast to its cabana brand, says a press release. (Got a press release? updates@podnews.net).

  • A clip from Sunrise, an Australian breakfast TV show, about The Art of Decluttering, with Kirsty Farrugia and Amy Revell. Of note: you need video associated with your podcast to make TV be comfortable covering you - lots of stuff from Facebook used in this piece.

  • Re-linked today in a Facebook group: how to get inexpensive feedback on your podcast from real people by using Amazon’s Mechanical Turk.

  • Acast have appointed Henrik Isaksson to run its Australian operations. Isaksson was previously boss of Spotify Australia.

  • Millennials are apparently choosing podcasting rather than blogging to build their personal brands, according to this piece in Forbes.

  • For Australian podcasters only (because law), an article about “fair dealing” - using other peoples’ content responsibly.

  • Miles Martignoni, a podcast producer at The Guardian, is doing a course on September 2nd in Sydney on Creating Compelling Podcasts
