Podcast Show London announces new speakers

  • The Podcast Show London has confirmed new partners and speakers, including Gary Lineker and Jack Davenport from Goalhanger, and Alison Lomax from YouTube UK & Ireland. Also announced as speakers are the team from FlightStory Studio: the team behind Diary of a CEO, Begin Again, and We Need to Talk - who’ll take to the stage with a session called “The Creator Economy is Dead. Welcome to the Era of Creator Entrepreneurs”. Our Editor is also speaking, and you’ll be able to watch the Podnews Weekly Review record live on-stage at the end of the event.

  • Spotify was down for over five hours yesterday. “Spotify experienced an outage today beginning around 6:20am EDT. As of 11:45am EDT, Spotify is back up and functioning normally,” a spokesperson told Techradar, which live-tweeted the incident.

  • Patreon announced live video which will roll out in the next few months. Creators can go live through the web, or via the Patreon mobile app. Podcasters earnt $472 million on Patreon last year, the company says. You can support Podnews on Patreon.
