The Atlantic launch their first podcast, called Radio Atlantic. Dual-headed, it also has a music director, Jon Batiste. “Our first show features a discussion about the future of American democracy—and of the American idea itself.”

Podcasting for Dummies, the third edition, is now available for pre-order in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia (via the US). It’s fully-updated and contains tips on how to “get the gear you need”, “find your podcasting voice”, “find and build an audience”, and “plan your podcast”.

Podcaster News reports that NASA launched a podcast, called Houston, We Have A Podcast, in July; though it may have a few weeks off after the weather events there.
