  • RØDE, the Australian podcast equipment manufacturer, is giving away $150,000 worth of prizes in a competition announced today. The global competition is free to enter, and includes prizes from a variety of sources including Dave Jackson’s School of Podcasting. The website has more info. Tip: RØDE is pronounced “road”, and not “roadie”. We asked.

  • Apple Podcasts has launched downloadable podcast analytics data from their Podcast Analytics portal. The company says we should “look for the Download button under the date control in the upper-right corner”; the information downloaded is a simple tab-separated-value file for use in spreadsheets. The email also asked podcasters to market how podcasts work on Siri.

  • Poddl·com is set to launch today. Inspired by Reddit, it’s a social podcast aggregator that allows people to create groups (“subs”) and add to other peoples’, too. Here’s the sub for podcasting as an example.
