Spotify launches 2023 Wrapped for Podcasters

Spotify launched 2023 Wrapped for listeners to explore their year in music and podcasts; and 2023 Wrapped for Podcasters, a tool to help podcast creators focus on their year. There are more new tools this year including the top music genre (you like pop), and the most-shared episode (the one about Strike Force Five). And, apparently, 43 listeners have our daily podcast as their #1 show: not bad for a four-minute podcast! You’ll find yours in the catalog page in Spotify for Podcasters, wherever you host your podcasts.

Spotify also revealed the top artists and podcasts on the platform in 2023. Joe Rogan was the biggest global show; the company also shared the year’s trends.
- Adam Bowie has compared Apple and Spotify’s top shows of 2023: examining the different apps and their likely demographics. HotPod has also compared similar. Worth remembering that Apple’s chart is calculated similar to its normal weekly charts, and therefore does include some bias towards recent new followers - a bias that Spotify’s chart doesn’t have.
