One in ten people in the UK are intending to set up and start a podcast of their own this year, according to a survey from Acast. If they all go through with it, that would be 8m new shows.

On Air Fest is returning as an in-person event in late February. Held in Brooklyn, Design Matters’ Debbie Millman, Everything is Alive’s Ian Chillag, For Colored Nerds’ Eric Eddings, Object of Sound’s Hanif Abdurraqib are some of those appearing.

Higher Ground, President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s media company, has announced a new show. The Big Hit Show “is a thought-provoking exploration of fandom that analyzes some of cultures’ biggest movements that have never been dissected before”. It’ll start as an exclusive.
