YouTube’s Creator Insider has produced a video announcing the company’s new podcast features and metrics. Unlike the announcement from the company earlier this week, this new video claims that the features are still rolling out; but that rollout will finish at the end of this week.

YouTube also claims “podcast specific analytics”, saying “this is distinct from current analytics offered”. In case you wonder what they look like, Podnews Daily's data has an overview, a content screen, and audience; a revenue screen is also available to podcasts large enough to get access.

Audiobooks are now available to Spotify users in Canada. The company says the catalogue has reached more than 350,000 audiobook titles. It’s available in English and French, marking the first time that Spotify has launched audiobooks to a non-English audience - it’s joining US, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
