- Jun 13: The Pew Research Center has released an interactive tool that examines trust/distrust and use of “thirty major news sources”. The most trusted news brand in the US is the BBC, with PBS and NPR in the top four. Among the major news sources are the Tucker Carlson Network, The Daily Wire, and The Joe Rogan Experience.
- Apr 19, 2023: Data: The Pew Research Center has released a study examining podcasts as a source of news and information. The study suggests that two-thirds of all podcast listeners have heard news discussed on the podcasts they listen to; and almost all of them expect that news to be accurate. However, few directly listen to podcasts from a news organisation. The full study is here.
- Nov 11, 2021: Research from the Pew Research Center suggests that more Americans are getting their news from podcasts. It's the only digital platform to be in growth, says the data.

It finds that more Americans are using podcasts to get the latest news - but also highlights the danger of a survey: several of those surveyed forgot that they listened to news podcasts until they were specifically asked about them.
