- Mar 2: Blubrry has recertified for v2.2 of the IAB Podcast Measurement Guidelines. Also joining the list of compliant companies is French public radio broadcaster Radio France.
- Jan 30: Independent podcasts are set to be available on the Radio France app, after a new agreement with the PIA, the Syndicate of Independent Audio Producers. "Podcast inclusion is based on a principle of dual consent: studios put forward their programmes, while Radio France retains full editorial control over the final selection."
- Dec 19, 2024: A day after Podnews revealed layoffs and impaired operations at TuneIn, Radio France has signed a distribution deal with Radioline. “This balanced partnership relationship is based on commitments that guarantee Radio France a controlled and respectful distribution of its content.”
- Sep 8, 2022: Radio France podcasts will be available on Amazon Music, after an agreement was signed between the two companies. Like other third-party platforms, Amazon Music gets daily shows from Radio France for 7 days, and weekly shows for 30 days, before they become exclusives in the Radio France app.
- Feb 4, 2021: Radio France has signed an agreement to put its podcasts on PodcastAddict. The broadcaster is unusual in restricting its RSS feed addresses from the Apple Podcasts API - so Culture en Direct, as one example, can't be played from services that use it, like our own website.
